This is an early AKAI having a VALVE amplifier (sounds great, nice and warm)

The Reel to Reel has 4 Tracks (2 x Stereo) 2 speeds , 3 ¾ - 7 ½ selected by a lever

( no changing of capstan rollers etc) Takes reels up to 7 inches.There are both internal speakers ( stereo) and a pair of matching external speakers each containing a 10 inch Woofer and a 3½ Tweeter (Wow!) Twin Metering

Now the best bit ,its got a 8 TRACK Player/recorder built into the side ! With this you can play back AND RECORD YOUR OWN 8 TRACKS !! Tracks are selected by the pushbuttons on the front of the unit ,dubbing between R2R and 8 Track is possible

There are both Phono and DIN in/out stereo connectors

It has been overhauled including the replacement of all faulty capacitors etc

and is in GOOD WORKING ORDER

Cosmetically it is in EXCELLENT CONDITION all knobs are original

It is covered by the Goldie Oldie 6 month RTB warranty.
